Using Your Compass to Chart the Course

Polymathic people frequently have a hard time.  It’s not easy being versatile in this Age of Specialization.

We are also told which way to go in life—the path of specialization—and sometimes, we realize that such a course isn’t the one we want to go on afterall. Instead, we want to chart a new course—one that’s really our own, more original, unique, and authentic.  And to do so, we must tune in and listen to our inner compass.

It is important to explore the fullness of the human experience; figure out what you like!  Give yourself an ample “sampling period,” and put lots of tools in your toolkits.  Figure out which areas are worth diving more deeply into or not.  Become adept in having both breadth and depth.

Let your superpower be learning, unlearning, and relearning.

Find others who are knowledgeable and who can support you with your goals, even as those goals shift.

Unleash your bravest, boldest self so that you can make life a real adventure.

I am not here to give you the answers but to help you find your own.  As your coach, I will support your pursuit of self-actualization—how you can be your best, truest, fullest self, by following your own inner compass to chart the course of your life.
